If I hadn't stolen this from a reliable site and Reuters wasn't in the credits, I would've bet money this was a Photoshop job. Here's what the caption said:

I saw that! Of all the shots to get mixed up! I think I would've triple or quadruple checked to make sure the TRANQUILIZERS were the shot being given if I had to go snuggle up to that beast! Hell, maybe even give him two for good measure! I heard they were able to sew it back on- how creepy is that?!?
I was hoping for more gore. I know. I have issues. Cool that they were able to reattach it.
I wonder if they killed the croc? They have a picture of a cop shooting at it, but no picture of a dead croc.
Who's the guy with the camera that's taking pics instead of running for help? I think I'd rather shoot him than the croc!
